Private Label Rights products are digital information products where you are given the license to change the content. That is your golden opportunity to make a product that has potential to put your own spin on it (plus insert your own affiliate links which makes it a viral sensation). This article explores how to get the most out of private label rights and how you can get your hands on these products to get going in making some money!
What is Private Label Rights (PLR)?
Private label rights is a license that is given for a certain digital product. It customarily means you can do with what you want on the product. You should however, read over the license carefully as some authors will give you private label rights but will not let you sell it for free (which to me makes no sense whatsoever). If you change the content significantly, then the product is not the same. So why should the author care if you give that changed copy away? I suppose they mean that you should not give away the original version. Again, just be sure to read the entire license.
If you get involved with private label rights and you think that you can simply ignore the rights and do what you want with the products you work with, I am here to warn you to think twice about doing that. Many authors make a good living with these products and now have the monetary resources to take action if they deem necessary. Sure, you may get away with it for a while but why take that chance?
You Changed The Product. Now What?
So you put all your affiliate links and you have reworked several of the sections to either bring them into the current time frame or to add value. So what is the next step? You need to get it out to the online community. What you could do is create a sub report from the main report that you can give away for free to build a list or to simply have a viral product getting propagated.
Another possibility is to sell it on eBay or on ClickBank or PayDotCom. If you have information that has never been published before and it truly gives techniques that will help others make money, you should have to trouble getting a product like that sold.

You could do a search on your favorite search engine for "private label rights" and you are sure to get thousands of links. This would be the difficult way to go about this because you just don't know which companies are good and which are just rehashed garbage that is old and recycled.
