How to Find a Good Niche

There are plenty of good niches that are available and always will be.  Your job is to learn how to find that niche and exploit it.  That is what we will explore in this article.

Once you find your niche using keyword research, the next step is to bombard the market with articles, blogs, etc., about the subject of the niche.  Suppose you find that the niche "sports car care and maintenance" has good products that you can sell and the niche converts well.  In order to get more exposure you should be considering creating information for that niche and getting it out to various article directories and high ranking blogs.  The key here is high ranking.

Keyword Research
So what is the best way to accomplish keyword research?  There is no real best way but you could use Google's Keyword Tool (just search in Google for Google Keyword Tool).  The best part is that this tool is both powerful and free.  When you use it to search for a well converting niche, you should run the search with synonyms first and then without to see the different results.

Content
You need to create unique content.  There is simply no way around this.  If you feel like this takes too much time, then consider outsourcing the task. Whatever you decide to do with this, the one thing you should never do is copy from someone else.  Google (and other search engines) will actually penalize your sites if you are discovered.  So it is not a good idea to engage in this practice.

Exposure
Getting your site in front of a large number of people is probably the biggest challenge.  It can be frustrating because you write say, 25 articles on your niche and you have the same amount of traffic as you did a month ago.  The point is this takes time and persistence.  So how many articles should you write?  The true answer is you should never stop.  On a decent niche, one that you believe will sell well, you should literally have hundreds scattered all over the web.  You also want to make sure that you get back links from other places like blogs and forums.
